A car crashed into a Windsor auto dealership on Monday, prompting a response from emergency personnel.

Shortly after 12 p.m., a white sedan ran into the Overseas Motors BMW building on Tecumseh Road East, shattering two of the business’s large windows.

Windsor police responded to the incident and surrounded the vehicle with yellow tape.

Earlier this month, a 73-year-old woman was killed when a minivan smashed into the South Windsor home she was inside. The motorist was not injured.

In October, a vehicle smashed into the rear of the Windsor-Essex Children’s Aid Society building on Riverside Drive East. The driver fled the scene before officers arrived, leaving behind a grey SUV police described as in “total disrepair.”
