Roughriders sign former NFL receiver Ja’Marcus Bradley

The Saskatchewan Roughriders have added American receiver Ja’Marcus Bradley to the roster for the 2025 CFL season.

The 28-year-old joins the Green and White after spending four years in the NFL and one year in the UFL having first joined the Cleveland Browns as an undrafted free agent in 2020.

Bradley played eight games for the Browns over two seasons, catching nine passes for 124 yards. He also returned two kicks for 49 yards.

After his stint with the Browns, the 6-foot-1, 198-pound Mississippi native spent time on the Pittsburgh Steelers practice roster during the 2022 and 2023 seasons. Last season, he played for the United Football League’s St. Louis Battlehawks.

Prior to turning pro, Bradley played five collegiate seasons at Louisville, where he racked up 2,177 receiving yards and 20 touchdowns on 145 receptions in 46 games. He also returned kicks and punts over his time with the Ragin’ Cajuns, where he was a two-time all-conference receiver.

Bradley joins a Roughriders receiving corps that features returning Americans Shawn Bane Jr., KeeSean Johnson and Donte Meyers plus Canadians Samuel Emilus, Kian Schaffer-Baker, Dhel Duncan-Busby, Ajou Ajou and D’Sean Mimbs.

Americans Jerreth Sterns and Mario Alford, pus Canadians Mitch Picton and Colton Hunchak are pending free agents.
