Now Sir Gareth Southgate says boys need more positive role models – to stop them turning to online influencers, gaming or porn.

The former England manager criticised those he called “callous, manipulative and toxic influencers” – and said they were tricking young men into thinking that only money or physical dominance was important.

So how best to support a generation of boys and young men? We are joined by Caitlin Moran, author of both How to be A Woman but also – ‘What About Men?’
